I hope you can wrap yourself in lucky stars and have a great year! This set includes the pattern for the throw blanket and the large square. The square can be used as a baby blanket, or a pillow, or crochet a few and make a larger blanket!

You will receive four files.

  • Lucky Stars SQUARE: the fully written interlocking crochet pattern, a one-page chart, the fully written overlay mosaic crochet pattern (including instructions for an envelope border)
  • Lucky Stars SQUARE: multi-page chart marked with X’s for mosaic crochet
  • Lucky Stars BLANKET: the fully written interlocking crochet pattern, a one-page chart, the fully written overlay mosaic crochet pattern (including instructions for an envelope border)
  • Lucky Stars BLANKET: multi-page chart marked with X’s for mosaic crochet

The blanket chart is 253 x 253. The square chart is 97 x 97.

The Locked Filet Mesh (LFM) interlocking crochet method uses only chain spaces and double crochets to create a mesh; two colors are worked alternately which creates the pattern.

Mosaic crochet is single crochet and double crochet stitches. The double crochet stitches cover some of the other color’s single crochet stitches to create the design. My patterns instruct you to cut your yarn at the end of each row. The back is striped but often gives a faint impression of the pattern on the front (sort of like illusion knitting).
