Goodnight, Unicorn

Crochet this large blanket, Goodnight, Unicorn, using the interlocking crochet technique or the overlay mosaic crochet technique. The fully written pattern and charts for both techniques are included.

$7.00

This baby unicorn is chilling on a cloud. And, like most babies, this unicorn isn’t sleepy tonight!

You will receive two files.

One containing:
– the interlocking pattern
– an unmarked one-page chart (241 x 241)
– the mosaic pattern (including instructions for an envelope border)

The other file has mosaic crochet charts:
– instructions on reading a chart (view)
– single-page x-marked chart (241 x 241)
– a 12-page x-marked chart (241 x 241)

The Locked Filet Mesh (LFM) interlocking crochet method uses only chain spaces and double crochets to create a mesh; two colors are worked alternately which creates the pattern.

Overlay mosaic crochet is single and double crochet stitches. The double crochet stitches cover some of the other color’s single crochet stitches to create the design. My patterns instruct you to cut your yarn at the end of each row. The back is striped but often gives a faint impression of the pattern on the front (sort of like illusion knitting).
